  We went to Sporty as we heard they were rated #1 in Port Hardy two years in a row, we now know why. We were there for Prime Rib night, excellent! Service was friendly and welcoming and the prices reasonable.

  Lower end sports in most larger towns. In Hardy it is about as good as it gets. Decent menu not too pricey for what you get. Service is helpful if a tad slow. Decor needs a serious upgrade. And they still have tube TV for the game. To be fair most are flat screens now.

  Update Feb 9/2018 moved here late December, this bar is nice as long as you leave before 3pm most days.. I'm a British born Fijian

  We hadn't been to Sporty's for several years because the quality of the food had become dismal over time, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the food had gone from poor to excellent. We've been back a few times over the past couple weeks and we've been really pleased with everything from decor to service to food, and we're very happy to give Sporty's our highest rating.

  This place was a great surprise! Nice patio, beautiful views (the pictures don't do this spot justice). Excellent high quality food that you can tell the chef really takes pride in.
